Meet the staff

Ashlie Gagnon (Owner)

My husband and I have 4 children, one of whom attends Moose Alley. I recently completed my AA in Early Childhood Education. I look forward to growing and learning with your children. My goal is to foster a comfortable, stable, and loving environment for your children to learn, explore and grow.

Andrew Gagnon (Owner)

My wife and I own the daycare together; I also act as the maintenance supervisor for the facility. The children often recognize me by my tractor (they see me using it around the property). My goal is to ensure your children have a safe place to play, run, and learn.

Renee Lancaster          (Director/School Aged Teacher)

I have worked in the childcare field for over 18 years. I have my AA in Early Childhood Education and am currently working toward my Bachelor's degree. I have two children, and both attend Moose Alley! Children learn so much during their early years, and I truly love watching them learn and grow in their own way on their own terms!  I look forward to welcoming you and your child into the Moose Alley Daycare family!   

Emily Gravel (Pre-School Teacher)

I live in Auburn with my husband and our fur babies. We have two dogs and three cats! I love spending time with my family, especially my nieces and nephews.  I am currently working toward my AA in Early Childhood Education. I love every aspect of the classroom! I especially love teaching the children new things and getting to know their families. I look forward to teaching your child!   

I live in Mechanic Falls with my husband, two kids and our big pup Copper. I have been working in childcare since 2017 (except for the 3 years I took to work in healthcare & mental health) and it is my passion. I truly enjoy my time spent working with and teaching children. When I am not working, I enjoy camping, movies (especially musicals and holiday classics), music, art, training my dog, and hanging out with my family.

Alexis (Lexi) Gordon (Toddler Teacher)

I have been babysitting since I was 14. I have been in childcare for a year and a 1/2. I absolutely love the bond I create with the children I care for and watching them grow up is my favorite thing to experience. I am currently in college finishing my general studies then moving forward to become a preschool teacher.  My favorite thing to do when I’m not working is spend time with my cat and read books and to  enjoy the outdoors.
